Two Ears

An AI interviewer with a memory you can audit

From grapevine to common ground.

Two Ears interviews every stakeholder in your discovery — adaptively, in their own words — and keeps a living brief where every sentence traces back to who said it, verbatim. Not summaries of summaries: anchored quotes, verified before they shape a single line.

Discovery usually means a handful of workshops, the three loudest voices, and a deck of bullet points nobody can attribute. When the client asks “where did this come from?”, the honest answer is a shrug.

Two Ears replaces that with an interview for everyone who matters — and a brief that shows its work, sentence by sentence.

How it works

Four stages, in the order an engagement actually runs.

Prepare

Set the frame

Write the interview guide — the questions you would ask if you ran every session yourself — upload background materials, and send each stakeholder a private link.

Capture

Interviews run themselves

The AI interviewer conducts every session, adapting its follow-ups to each answer. Participants talk on their own schedule; transcripts, summaries, and coverage land automatically.

Understand

Build shared truth

Every transcript is mined into anchored evidence. A living brief is synthesized from it — verified, cited — and disagreements surface as tensions for your judgement.

Deliver

Hand it over

Interrogate the whole corpus with cited answers, then generate a findings pack with chain of custody from every finding back to the words behind it.

The loop closes on itself: gaps and conflicts found while understanding become adviser-approved follow-up questions the interviewer asks in later sessions — so the engagement converges instead of just accumulating.

The participant’s view — a private link, no account

You mentioned the approvals process “takes forever”. Where does it actually stall — the paperwork, or waiting on people?
Waiting, mostly. Sign-off is quick once it reaches the right desk — the problem is knowing whose desk that is.
That’s useful. When it lands on the wrong desk, what happens to it — does it get forwarded, or does it start again?

Everyone gets heard — not just the loudest three.

  • — Adapts its follow-ups to each answer, like a good interviewer does
  • — Runs in parallel across the whole organisation, on their schedule
  • — Searches your background materials mid-conversation
  • — Pause and resume any time; password-protect where it warrants
  • — Never reveals what any other participant said
Follow one sentence

What happens to a thing somebody says.

Most tools summarise and hope. Two Ears keeps custody of every claim from the moment it is spoken to the moment it appears in front of your client.

  1. Said

    A stakeholder says it

“Anything over ten thousand goes to the CFO. Below that my team lead signs it off — though honestly, half the time it’s me anyway.”

Interview #9, minute 24. The exchange is stored verbatim, tagged to the guide question in play.

  2. Extracted

    Mined into evidence

Two extraction passes pull out the claim — approval threshold £10k, sign-off in practice informal — with speaker, stance, and an anchor to the exact words.

  3. Gated

    Checked before it counts

A faithfulness gate confirms the evidence honestly represents the transcript at its anchor. Anything ambiguous is set aside for a person to judge — never guessed at.

    ✓ passed the faithfulness gate

  4. Contested

    Someone else disagrees

Interview #4 put the threshold at £25k. Instead of averaging the two, the conflict becomes a ranked tension card.

    ⚠ tension raised: £10k vs £25k

  5. Resolved

    A person rules on it

An adviser resolves the tension — policy says £25k; practice has been £10k since the audit. The ruling itself enters the ledger as evidence.

  6. Cited

    The brief shows its work

The living brief states both policy and practice, citing every source. Click any sentence and you are one step from the exact words, speaker, and timestamp.

    ✓ verified · cited by brief v14

What you get

Four surfaces, one standard of proof.

The living brief

✓ every assertion verified and cited

One evolving document of what the organisation actually thinks — every assertion tested against its citations before you read it. Correct it inline and the correction becomes evidence; the brief rebuilds around it.

Tensions

⚠ disagreement, ranked for judgement

Policy-versus-practice gaps, contested numbers, split camps — surfaced as cards with the evidence on each side. A person resolves or dismisses each one; nothing is silently blended.

Analysis

“who owns pricing decisions?”

Ask any question across every transcript and get an answer grounded strictly in the evidence, citations attached. Save the answers that matter to the engagement.

The findings pack

✓ chain of custody, end to end

A versioned, client-ready deliverable. Every finding traces back through the brief and the ledger to verbatim quotes — built to survive the sharpest question in the room.

Why trust it

Six commitments you can repeat in front of a client.

01

Append-only

What a stakeholder said is permanent record — never edited, never deleted in place. Understanding evolves on top of it.

02

Everything cited

Every assertion drills down to verbatim quotes with speaker, session, and timestamp. Chain of custody, end to end.

03

Verified or absent

Nothing generative reaches a reader unchecked. Claims that fail verification are weakened or removed — and the verdict is on record.

04

Disagreement is surfaced

Conflicting testimony becomes a tension for human judgement, never a silent average. Even consensus must survive a contradiction scan.

05

Nothing leaks

No participant can ever learn what another said. Follow-up questions pass a leakage gate and reach the interviewer as approved text only.

06

Humans hold the pen

Advisers correct the brief, resolve tensions, and approve every follow-up question — and the system is bound to honour each ruling.

Advisers run it

Everything operational: guides, invites, triage, the brief, tensions, packs. Built so one consultant can hear a whole organisation.

Client leads follow along

A clean reading room: the brief, tensions, analysis, and pack as they evolve — live, read-only, no operational clutter.

Participants just click a link

No account, no app. A private, optionally password-protected link opens the interview room; they can pause and pick up any time.

“When a client asks ‘who told you that?’, the answer is one click — not a week of tape review.”

Built for advisory discovery work, where the findings have to survive scrutiny.
